• 17. 2. 2012 - Mersin İY - Galatasaray 1-2 (27° match day)

  Galatasaray went to Mersin without 2 of the most important players (Melo and Riera, out because of yellow cards) but won without too many problems against the home team. Without the brazilian "bomber", it's been Necati Ateş to lead the team to the success thanks to two goals and the action when he earned a penalty transformed by Selçuk İnan. Mersin equalised when they were losing 0-1 with Güven.

• 11. 2. 2012 - Galatasaray - Kayserispor 1-0 (26° match day)

  Second win in a row for Galatasaray, who succeeded at home against Kayserispor thanks to another goal of Felipe Melo. The Brazilian player got a yellow card and, together with Riera, won't play next week in Mersin. Thanks to this result, Terim's side keeps the lead of the chart, followed by Fenerbahçe.

• 4. 2. 2012 - Gaziantepspor - Galatasaray 1-2 (25° match day)

  Despite the last 2 bad results in the league, Galatasaray keeps the lead over Fenerbahçe thanks to the victory over Gaziantepspor. The home team took the lead at 50' with Popov but Terim's side managed to equalise after only 2' with the new arrival Ateş and score the winning goal at 65' with Elmander, the team's best goal scorer. Next Sunday Galatasaray will face at Telekom Arena Kayserspor, who's currently 9th in the chart.

  He's already an idol for the Galatasaray supporters, who love his experience and leadership.

• 2. 10. 2011 - Ankaragücü - Galatasaray 0-3 (5° match day)

  Galatasaray finally managed to win the first match of the season away, in Ankara against the rivals of Ankaragücü. If we don't consider a couple of danguerous shots and various passes and crosses, Galatasaray dominated the encounter during the 90', even if the first goal has been an unfortunate own goal scored by the Czech defender Rajnoch. After a few minutes Kazim, the best on field, doubled the lead with a wonderful shot. The 3rd and last goal was scored at 90' by Baroš, who converted himself earned penalty kick.

• 26. 9. 2011 - Galatasaray - Eskişehirspor 2-0 (4° match day)

  In the second home match of the season Galatasaray beated the rivals of Eskişehirspor for 2-0. At the beginning of the match, it was the visitors to create most chances with Kamara, but the first goal was scored after 23' by Zan, who was able to hit by head a cross from left from free kick. After risking something, Galatasaray closed the match already at 51' with another goal of Felipe Melo.

  First draw of the season for Galatasaray, who at Karabük against the home-team didn't manage to go beyond a 1-1.The match wasn't easy, above all considering that only after 13' Terim's side was in 10 men because of the red card given to Muslera. Felipe Melo equalised with a penalty at 8' to the end, after that Karabükspor scored with Erdem a few minutes before.

  After the bad defeat in the first match of the season in the derby against Istambul B.S.B., Galatasaray gave a great performance at Telekom Arena against Samsunspor and in front of 35.000 faithful supporters. After the eurogoal of Melo after 17' and the draw of Sarp for the opponents, the home-team deservedly won thanks to Elmander and a penalty of Inan.

  In the first match of the season, Galatasaray was beated by Istambul B.B. 2-0. Disappointing result for a team who wants to fight for the title and who's been dreaming in big during the whole summer, as they showed with the many important players (Ujfaluši, Melo, Eboue, Muslera, Riera just to say some of them) they've been signing.
